SCRANTON, Pa. — Jim, Pam, Dwight, and Michael Scott have taken over the second floor of the Everhart Museum in Scranton. The Office Exhibition was put in six months ago, and it features anything and everything from the popular show, which is set in Scranton.

"For the last six months, we've had people from all over the world coming to this exhibition.  But now they're able to come on the big weekend where we have the Office 5k happening as well," Everhart Museum Director Tim Holmes said.

Even more fans are expected to visit the exhibit next weekend as The Office 5k takes over the Electric City.

"This is our fifth season and it keeps on growing.  It keeps on getting more exciting, more things to do wrapped around Scranton as well," Race Director Gus Fahey said.

The race passes through several sites featured on the show, such as Penn Paper, Cooper's, and the Dwight mural. There are events all throughout the weekend.

"You can do walking tours of Scranton.  You can do comedy shows.  You can do trivia nights.  There's a bar crawl Saturday night, so there's all these events that are related to The Office," Fahey said.

The race brings thousands of people to Scranton.

"Attending and visiting the locations, whether it's Cooper's, Alfredo's, the sights people have seen within The Office. It provides an economic impact to downtown Scranton," Fahey said.

The proceeds benefit the nonprofit Valley in Motion.

"So we create murals, we create events like walking club, and we create these community school yards, these playgrounds that become little mini parks," Fahey said.

The Office 5K and one-mile walk are on Saturday, May 2nd, at 1 p.m. in downtown Scranton.
